I've promised this Journal would be about real musings on real life. Even if you won't admit it, I bet you've listened to your closest friends relay some great news about something amazing that just happened and instead of feeling joy, you silently drown in envy. Yep, that's ugly. And apparently most of us have been there. I sighed some relief to read I wasn't the only one and to find some ways to cope with the green-eyed monster at its root. READ IT HERE
Maybe it's my years living in and out of Europe, but my perception on naked bodies has changed from the 'cover up your goodies at all times' mentality to 'we've all got the same stuff' realization (thank goodness!!) One thing that hasn't changed however, is the endless discussions I have with friends about how we all struggle with our weight, our short legs, thick waists, how and where gravity pulls...it's exhausting! Ok, I was trying to be witty with the title, but it's not so funny when despite your best efforts, nothing you do is pushing you towards your goals. Maybe now that the holidays are blowing in on autumn breezes, it's the time to re-evaluate and reconsider. After all, it is the season for change-- and it's all in how you view it.
